Just Kidding

Jumping for joy because I finally found a good friend.

Up and down, we rode the Ferris wheel and admired the city view.

Smiling in my sleep as I anticipate the next adventure.

Talking day and night until there's no more words left to say.

Keeping my focus, training hard so my body stays in good shape.

Intrusive thoughts interrupt my sleep, so I pray for them to go away.

Doubting if the silence means something's wrong.

Driving there so we can talk and clear the air.

Introspecting to find what I could have done better.

Nightingale singing a dirge as I catch my breath before it leaves me for good.

Grieving for a moment, so I can serve the next game.
